NComputing L300 Ethernet Virtual Desktop with vSpace by NComputing
NComputing Batteries Editorial Review
The NComputing L Virtual Ethernet Bureau unit appears to be a commendable solution for businesses seeking to expand their workstations cost-effectively. Customer feedback highlights the unit's compact size, low power Consumption, and minimal maintenance, making it an appealing choice for resource-Conscious organizations. Users appreciate its ability to efficiently run a full suite of Windows applications and Adobe software, with smooth video streaming for most use cases. Skype functionality also received positive mention, suggesting its usefulness for communication needs in professional environments. However, there are notable limitations. Several customers reported issues with latency during data transmission, especially when used with popular web browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Additionally, while the unit handles typical office tasks well, it struggles with video gaming applications, even with light titles like Minecraft, which seems to be a common limitation for remote connection setups rather than a fault of the device itself. Some instances of unit defects, as well as complications when configuring multiple devices, were cited, leading to frustrations and disappointment for certain users. Overall, while the NComputing L has its challenges, particularly related to internet performance and gaming capabilities, many users report successful implementations in their organizations, particularly when paired with specific operating systems like Lubuntu. It stands out as an energy-efficient alternative to traditional workstations, providing a significant reduction in power Consumption and operational costs. **
