SparkFun MIDI Interfaces 8541589300 Editorial Review
The SparkFun MIDI Shield is an easy-to-put-together kit that breaks out Arduino pins to MIDI. However, some customers thought that it comes with a MIDI synthesizer chip, which it does not. One customer pointed out that it does not include headers and cannot function as a shield without them. While others said that it's not much of a "kit", but still nice overall. Overall, the SparkFun MIDI Shield received positive reviews for its functionality and ease of assembly. However, a lack of clarity pertaining to the product's contents may lead to some confusion. **
