Rothco Paracord Editorial Review

### Editorial Review of Rothco Polyester Paracord The Rothco Polyester Paracord has received a generally positive reception from customers who praise its quality, durability, and vibrant colors. Many users appreciate that it fulfills a broad range of purposes, from crafting bracelets to serving in outdoor and emergency kit applications. One reviewer noted that the cord's bright red is accurately represented and possesses a nice saturation, appealing to those who prioritize aesthetics in their choice of paracord. Several customers have realized the potential of this paracord for everyday tasks, highlighting its strength and longevity in use. Some have reported that it maintains its shape well and doesn’t stretch like other materials, such as leather. This makes it an ideal choice for items that need to withstand wear over time, such as boot laces or survival gear. However, there are some notable distinctions compared to other brands. While Rothco's paracord is often perceived as high-quality, its Construction, which includes a polyester outer sheath and nylon inner strands, raises questions about its true weight capacity, particularly when compared to genuine MIL-SPEC paracord. Some reviewers have pointed out its stiffness compared to traditional paracord, suggesting it may not be suitable for more extreme applications—like parachuting. Despite these concerns, the majority of feedback looks favorably upon the overall quality of the cord, with users expressing loyalty to the brand based on past experiences, even spanning back to significant events like 9/11. A few critiques do exist, such as instances of frayed cords or variability in the quality upon receipt, but they seem to be exceptions rather than the rule. Overall, Rothco stands out for offering a reliable product at a reasonable price, solidifying a positive reputation in the paracord market. ### Pros and Cons **
