The Mortal Kombat: The Complete First Series is a well-received product by fans of the franchise. It features the best actors for Raiden, Shao Khan, Quan Chi, Scorpion, Sub-zero, and Reptile. While the series should have had at least two more seasons, it got canceled after the first one, which ends in a cliffhanger. However, fans who watched it back in the day will still enjoy it. Some reviewers complain about the lack of Blu-ray versions, but the DVD quality is excellent, with maximum footage of the show. Another drawback is that the product only comes with English subtitles, making it hard for fans who do not know the language to follow along. Nonetheless, fans of the 90s movies and the franchise will love this series all over again.
