Question:
How do they hold up? I feel like if I use them to build my shed its going to tear at some corber...
Answer: I primarily use mine for Mountain Biking and trail building. So far they have held up quite well for that. Since the palm is only a single layer it would wear out sooner than the standard gloves. The upper is quite thin and breathes really well. As for building a shed, they will probably hold up fine, just make sure you get the proper size, mechanix has a pretty spot on sizing chart on their website. -
Question:
should I order a size large (9) or should I jump up to an xl please?
Answer: These fit pretty tight for me. U could go up a size for comfort if the large is tight. -
Question:
Do you get a pack of 2 (two pair, or 4x gloves) if you order Large? Or do they mean 2 gloves = 1 pair?
Answer: It was only 1 pair - 2 gloves. -

Do they stretch?
Answer: I'd say they flex but I wouldn't say they stretch. -
Question:
Would these work well in the garden (clearing debris like sticks etc.)? Looking for gloves that'll keep my hands cool while gardening.
Answer: Yes, I do the same thing in the heat of Texas. Including clearing brush and mowing with them. They are the first gloves I have had that do not leave my hands sweaty. -

Does sand get in them easily or saw dust?
Answer: I wouldn't think so. The velcro strap at the wrist allows you to cinch it as tight as you like. -

Do these gloves leak if used around water?
Answer: The gloves are not water resistant in the slightest. Thin material which is why I wanted them...my job deals with lots of water / pipe. They do dry very fast and so far getting them wet and letting em dry over and over has not affected their size or durability. Also I’ve washed them in the washing machine and they come clean and hold up well. -

Are they suitable for running?
Answer: Hello! The Specialty Vent gloves are made of lightweight mesh that will eliminate heat build-up. They are also perforated. I would suggest these are good for running. -

Can you use the touch screen on your phone while wearing them?
Answer: They did not work on my phone screen, I just cut the tip off of the index finger a little and problem solved.
