Clauss Scissors & Shears 18078 Editorial Review
The Clauss ExtremEdge Titanium Bonded Adjustable Tension Shears appear to be a versatile cutting tool. Users have reported positive experiences cutting a variety of materials, including paper, fabric, foam board, tape, bubble wrap, cotton, and leather. The shears receive high praise for their durability and ability to maintain a sharp edge over time. Some customers have even purchased multiple pairs for different locations and purposes. The shears are described as heavy duty, reliable, and well-suited for both household and professional use. However, some reviewers have criticized the shears for becoming loose and requiring frequent tightening. Additionally, there are complaints about the plastic pivot point wearing out quickly, leading to reduced cutting effectiveness. One user also expressed dissatisfaction with the shears' performance on cardboard and labeled them as ineffective for heavy and frequent use. Overall, the Clauss ExtremEdge shears appear to be a durable and versatile cutting tool with the ability to handle various materials, but they may have limitations in terms of long-term durability and frequent use.
