Schools & Teaching Editorial Review
**** The Mathematical Reasoning Level B curriculum by Critical Thinking Company has garnered a warm reception from parents, particularly those homeschooling their children. Users appreciate the vibrant and engaging presentation of the material, highlighting its colorful pages and fun activities, which keep kids interested. Many reviewers started with the Level A book for their kindergarteners but found that Level B offered the right level of challenge for their math-oriented children as they progressed. Parents value the book's unique structure, combining different approaches to problem-solving while reinforcing concepts over time, a technique known as spiral learning. The approximately 300 worksheets included are well perceived, allowing for a structured yet flexible learning experience. Regular use of the program has resulted in high engagement levels among the children, with some stating that their kids looked forward to math sessions rather than viewing them as a chore. The curriculum also scores well on its ability to blend logic and critical thinking exercises with age-appropriate probability activities, providing a well-rounded mathematical foundation. However, some parents caution that the lack of extensive teacher guidance may pose challenges for those less confident with math basics, suggesting that while it's robust enough to stand as a primary curriculum, supplemental instructions might be necessary for some learners. Overall, the Mathematical Reasoning Level B is highly recommended for its engaging content and effectiveness in teaching foundational math skills, although it may require supplemental support for the best learning experience. **
